Inspection Booking Conditions

Scheduling:

• Submit requests early to assist with securing your desired date and time. We will try to accommodate though scheduling constraints may apply.
• Minimum 24 hours’ notice required for inspections.
• ALL Inspections bookings have a 2-hour time window. e.g 9:00-11:00am
• Inspection location availability is as per below table
• Bookings made after 3 PM will not be available for the following business day.
• Inspections occur between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday to Thursday as per schedule

• NOTE: – Concrete Pours:

  • MUST Allow a minimum of 2-hour window for inspection
  • Under NO CONDITIONS will responsibility be assumed for plant, machinery or materials if an inspection not approved, is unable to be undertaken due to weather or unforeseen circumstance OR time window is not allowed for OR any other reason
• No inspections will be available during Christmas/New Year and Easter shutdown, public holidays or other advised periods – (note: Christmas shutdown: week prior to Christmas – 23^rd December to the 17 January / Easter Thursday-Easter Wednesday)

Inspection Schedule

Documentation:

• Prefab Wall, Floor, and Truss documentation, including Layout, Design, and Computations, MUST be submitted to our office 48 hours prior to inspection for approval & copies must be on-site.

Failure to do so will result in a “Not Approved” inspection result being recorded

Weather:

• Please check weather conditions prior to making booking. Cancel or reschedule if conditions are unsuitable.
• Cancellation Policy applies.

Conditions:

• Inspections are conducted in accordance with AS 2601.1 and approved documentation.
• We are not responsible for incomplete, omitted, hidden, out-of-scope work or works to which access is not obtained.
• Access to all areas requiring inspection including provision of ladders and safe conditions MUST be provided by applicant
• Inspection of areas deemed unsafe at the sole discretion of inspector will not be inspected.

Cancellation Policy:

Inspection will be cancelled and a “Not Approved” result entered

• If required documentation has not been approved or not supplied or available on site
• If conditions are deemed unsafe, in accessible or unsuitable, at the sole discretion of inspector
• If safe Access to site and / or area to be inspected is not provided
• Full inspection fees apply, and a new inspection may be required.
• If inspection is cancelled

• • More than 2 hours prior to booking time window: No fee.
  • Between 2 hours to 30 minutes before: 50% of the fee.
  • Less than 30 minutes before: Full fee.
